Tamil nadu board of secondary education was formed and it is directorate of government existing as separate executive body that was formed in February 1975. Previously directorates of examination were conducted in madras. There were 10.5 lac students those who appeared in examination and they wrote in examination there were many shifts and 10 mins were specially allotted for reading the paper in examination as examination time are from 9:30 to 12 pm. There are more students than past year those who appeared in examination and in those examination girls got better result than boys and they outshined them. In 11 lac students 86 percent passed the examination. Tamil nadu board conducts examination in various subjects those are English, science, maths and other social subjects.
